The fruit of two years' hard work in rehearsal, onstage, and in the studio, the Callbacks' newest CD marks a milestone in the ongoing musical evolution of the group. The Callbacks have maintained their musical diversity with offerings as varied as the folk sounds of Simon and Garfunkel, the R+B harmonies of En Vogue, and the driving punk of the group Cake. Diving also features "Rio", arranged by James Lozada '99 and judged Best Arrangement at the 1997 CARA competition, as well as "Tempted," for which soloist Mike Rizzo '99's musical stylings won him the Best Soloist award in the 1998 CARA competition.
